Our Story

Creativity with intention. Design with impact.

Ink & Impact began with thoughtful design work and a desire to help small businesses show up clearly, beautifully, and in a way that feels true to them. Over time, it has grown into a broader creative practice rooted in design, handmade work, and meaningful details.

What began with design grew into something more layered.

Ink & Impact started with a focus on thoughtful design and creative support for small businesses. Over time, that foundation expanded into something broader — a creative brand that now includes handcrafted jewelry, greeting cards, custom pieces, and design work shaped by both strategy and heart.

Today, the brand continues to evolve in a way that feels both personal and practical, with products now available at Smith Family Orchards & Farm Store in Palisade, Colorado, and more growth taking shape behind the scenes.

What’s next

The goal is to keep building Ink & Impact in a way that feels intentional — helping clients bring merchandise ideas to life, expanding the jewelry collection into more artisan shops across Canada and the United States, and continuing to create products that feel thoughtful, useful, and well made.

There are also plans for an exclusive merchandise line that gives back, with 15% of proceeds supporting a different charity each year.

The founder behind Ink & Impact.

Kate’s background spans marketing, graphic design, social media, website design, and photography. Her entrepreneurial mindset started early and has continued to shape the way she builds, creates, and works.

In early 2024, she discovered a new love for jewelry making, which quickly became an important part of her creative work alongside design. It opened up another way to make something personal, tactile, and lasting.

Now in 2026, while raising one-year-old twins, Kate continues to grow Ink & Impact with a strong focus on thoughtful design and meaningful products. Whether she is working on branding, creating handmade pieces, or developing new ideas, the goal remains the same: to make work that feels personal, clear, and worth keeping.

Good design gets attention. Honest small businesses give people a reason to stay.

Still evolving. Still creating. Still building with intention.

Ink & Impact continues to grow, but the heart of it stays the same: thoughtful work, meaningful products, and creativity that feels personal from start to finish.
