Shop Policies

At Ink & Impact, we value your experience and aim to provide high-quality digital products and custom merchandise. Below are our policies regarding digital downloads, custom products, custom songs, and refunds. If you have any questions please reach out at support@inkandimpact.ca.

Digital Product Refund Policy

All sales of digital downloads are final. Once a digital product is purchased and delivered, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. Please carefully review the product details prior to purchase.

If you encounter any issues with downloading or accessing your files, please contact us at support@inkandimpact.ca. We will assist with troubleshooting and ensure you receive your product.

Custom Merchandise Refund Policy

All custom merchandise created through Printful or any other third-party provider is non-refundable due to the personalized nature of the products.

If you experience any issues with the quality of the print or shipping problems, please contact us at support@inkandimpact.ca. We will work directly with Printful on your behalf to resolve the issue.

File Access & Support

After completing your purchase, you will receive a download link for your digital products. Please download your files promptly as download links may expire.

If you encounter any issues with your download, email us at support@inkandimpact.ca for assistance.

Incorrect or Defective Files or Products

If you receive a defective digital file or a custom product with a print error, contact us at support@inkandimpact.ca within 7 days of receiving your order. We will help resolve the issue and provide a replacement where necessary.

Terms of Use for Digital Products

All digital products are for personal or limited commercial use as outlined in the product description. You may not redistribute, resell, or claim the digital files as your own.

For extended licenses or commercial use beyond the specified scope, contact us to discuss options.

Product Descriptions and Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate descriptions and representations of all products on our website. However, due to variations in screen displays and devices, colours may differ slightly. Please contact us if you need further clarification before purchasing.

Changes to Our Policies

We reserve the right to modify these policies at any time. Any changes will be posted here, and customers are encouraged to review the policies before making new purchases.

Composed for You — Custom Song Policies

The following policies apply specifically to all custom song orders placed through Ink & Impact's Composed for You service.

No Refunds on Custom Songs

All custom song purchases are final and non-refundable. Due to the personal, custom, and time-intensive nature of this service, refunds cannot be issued once your order has been placed and your questionnaire has been submitted.

If you feel that something important was missed or that your song does not reflect what you submitted in your questionnaire, please reach out and we will do our best to make it right. A Revision add-on is available for $20 CAD and covers one full round of lyric edits.

AI-Assisted Production

Every custom song is written and guided by a human lyricist. AI tools are used to assist in the lyric writing and music production process. By purchasing a custom song you acknowledge and accept this.

Songs are produced using AI music generation and cannot be based on, replicate, or imitate the voice or likeness of any real artist or public figure.

Song Delivery

Your finished custom song will be delivered as a high quality .wav file sent directly to the email address provided at checkout.

  • Standard delivery: 3–7 business days from questionnaire submission
  • Rush delivery add-on: within 12–48 hours of questionnaire submission
  • Revision add-on: an additional 2–3 business days following revision request
All delivery times begin once your completed questionnaire has been received. Delivery times may vary during peak periods. If you have a hard deadline, rush delivery is strongly recommended.

Song Rights & Personal Use Licence

The rights to your custom song remain with Ink & Impact upon delivery. You are granted a personal use licence which allows you to:

  • Listen to, keep, and enjoy your song privately
  • Share your song privately with friends and family
  • Gift your song to the person it was created for
  • Play your song at personal events such as weddings or celebrations
You may not upload your song to streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube for monetary gain, monetize it in any way, or use it for any commercial purpose. Ink & Impact will not use your custom song for our own commercial gain following delivery.

Questionnaire & Creative Responsibility

The quality and accuracy of your custom song depends on the detail and accuracy of the information you provide in your questionnaire. Please take your time filling it out carefully.

Ink & Impact is not responsible for songs that do not meet expectations due to incomplete, vague, or inaccurate questionnaire submissions. If you would like changes made following delivery, a Revision add-on may be purchased separately.

Rush Delivery & Add-Ons

Rush delivery and revision add-ons must be purchased at the time of your original order or before your questionnaire is submitted. Add-ons cannot be applied retroactively after your song has entered production.

Rush delivery guarantees delivery within 12–48 hours from the time your completed questionnaire is received — not from the time of purchase.
